ABOUT
The Dogwood Inn is a cozy, thoughtfully restored inn located in the small town of Collinwood, Tennessee—just a stone’s throw from the Natchez Trace Parkway. Owned and operated by David Harrison, who has deep roots in Collinwood, the inn is the result of a long-time dream to offer travelers and locals a comfortable, welcoming place to stay right in the heart of town.
After moving to Collinwood in 2005, David opened The Dragonfly Emporium in 2008. Over the years, it’s become a familiar stop for folks near and far—offering a rotating mix of gifts, good coffee, and friendly conversation. The Dogwood Inn is a natural extension of that same spirit: a place where people feel at home, whether they’re just passing through or settling in for a few days.
The building that houses the Inn was completely overhauled in 2024, blending modern comfort with design elements that tip the hat to local history. Its architecture draws inspiration from the old Collinwood train depot, now serving as the town library—a quiet nod to the past while keeping its eyes on the future.
Whether you're tracing the Parkway, reconnecting with family, or just looking for a peaceful place to land, The Dogwood Inn offers a quiet, comfortable stay with a Southern touch. We’re proud to be part of Collinwood’s story—and we’d love to be part of yours.
