Te-lah-nay was forcibly relocated to Oklahoma during the Trail of Tears but undertook a five-year journey to return to her homeland by the Singing River (Tennessee River). For visitors staying at The Dogwood Inn in Collinwood, Tennessee, Tom's Wall is approximately a 20-minute drive south, making it an accessible and worthwhile trip to explore this poignant tribute to resilience and heritage.
